I like the new Lara. Actually,the first thing I saw different about her was her eye color. It,s not brown anymore but blue.

Her boobs are one thing that made her special and you're taking away a trait that identifies her as a croft. Actresses/characters evolve over time but some things about a character are just meant to stay the same because the audience just won't identify with that character anymore. I hated when James Bond became blonde in Casino Royale; Despite multiple actors playing the role they still had similar features so you could still identify the character easily. This Laura is cute though IMO.

Can someone tell me why in the trailer she knows the dead body as Steph but then when you actually play the game, she never mentions Steph's name and actually kind of acts like she didn't really know the person at all? (Yes I know there is a Steph in multiplayer)

Anyone notice there is a big odd resemblance to Far Cry 3's mechanics? The skills system and loot system. The map and the fast travel locations, and even the icons. The Japanese inspired history of the island as well. OH yes, ziplinessssssss.

She's more real in this new game. She has fears, she has insecurities, she has problems. And old Lara definitely came off as a sex symbol. Tomb raider:underworld had breast physics in it, which is ridiculous.

am I the only one that thinks the new Lara is completely different from the old one, in terms of personality? They've taken away the strong, independent heroine aspect of everything that made up this amazing character and made her into a terrified, run of the mill, damsel in distress. I think this game ruins the franchise.

I am playing Tomb Raider in 3D on my Samsung 46ES8000 3D TV using a NvidiaGTX680 and its blowing my mind how good the graphic are in this game. Everything is so real down the wave crashing against the rocks below. It on sale for half price on Steam and anyone who does buy is missing out so much.

I liked it before when she was tougher and she didn't shriek and sob so much. I'll get this on eBay rather than new.

And BTW, this is supposed to be the origins for the badass. So you might stop liking her once she grows up if they keep their word.

If you thought of her only as a sex symbol without a personality then you didn't play it and only saw people saying she was hot, or she was disgusting for having big boobs... (seriously, some women just have big boobs, does that make them a joke and disgusting? (talking to everyone))

She always bled/grunted, but maybe didn't cry so much because badasses don't cry this much. If you don't like badasses then you didn't like Tomb Raider, or Master Chief, or Duke Nukem, or many characters (but Lara was one of the few female ones) and many people think the new Lara is hotter anyways so she's still made to be attractive. I think she looked way cooler before and prettier but if thats why ppl liked classic Lara, the chick from Lollipop Chainsaw would be more famous.
