i'm just going by all the research that i've done, which is quite a bit since i did a university presentation on the topic a few weeks ago. from what iv'e gathered the gas can separate form the water again when it is heated up which causes gas pockets in peoples pipes and can be set on fire. it's not like that was one random case either. i'm sure a lot of my sources were biased in a way but i'm sure yours are at least a little as well because i had to look at sources supporting it too.

methane cannot coalesce with water, it will evaporate out of H20 naturally, but when agitated via pumping, or aquifer the process increases tremendously...inhalation is your only threat, your farts have higher concentrations than said water tests you speak of. did someone hand you a pamphlet or something? the best unbiased education you can receive is to take oil engineering courses, chemistry, earth sciences, geology etc...i cant change your mind but science can if you aren't ignorant.

pipes break, shit leaks, and methane levels in groundwater near fracking has been found at up to 17 times the regular amount.

We don't use diesel anymore, and as I just mentioned in a previous response...some dimwit stated we use over 700 Chemicals...we use around 6-10 ... and on any given job, we use water, GVW, a cross linking agent poissbly a foamer, and of course a breaker...sometimes coupled with N20 to dramatically decrease angular friction. Our gel agent is edible, lol.

700 poisonous chemicals ? Can you name 10 ? BC-140? Clayweb? Lo-Surf, AQF ? Hydrochloric Acid, CL-21, CL-32 ... Not too many more than that...

Perhaps we can burn sage, and will it out of the ground over some pleasant conversation, a bowl of granola and a charming cup of chai tea latte?

still, hydraulic fracturing, but with less toxic chemicals.

"There are other, cleaner ways to do it"---please, do share. And be specific, because I am unaware of any process that can create flow in impermeable strata other than hydraulic fracturing.

It's not as simple as that. These people knowingly exploit people and put their lives at risk while also harming innocent others. There are other, cleaner ways to do it, but they do it this way anyways for the money. It's immoral.

prone to failure at the logging site...everything done ANYWHERE around water is performed via stem sleeve...try again.

-- Idiot. Even $2.00 gas isn't a bargain if you can't use the water.
Author: starmanskye

-- Typical moronic rationalization peddled as 'proof' the industry isn't responsible for contaminating water systems when problems occurred only AFTER drilling occurred in the area. The industry is too unregulated & irresponsible, committing the same offenses again & again, considering nuisance fines as just the cost of business. The thing is -- cement-job supposed to seal the aquifier is prone to failure. The industry is poisoning the country for greed -- how sociopathic is that?
Author: starmanskye

33 Thousand new holes punched into the earth & right thru the aquifier EVERY YEAR, DELIBERATELY injecting a slurry-mix of over 700 of the most poisonous chemicals under thousands of pounds pressure per square inch, relying on fragile cement-donut plugs prone to cracks, irregularities & poor edge-adhesion to seal the water table from contamination -- AND THE INDUSTRY IS EXEMPT FROM FEDERAL CLEAN-WATER REGULATIOMS? This is the most idiotic, demented thinking! The GREATEST single-source of poisons!

We Frac in excess of 10,000 feet below the water table...

exactly. These hypocrites were never environmentalists til it ended up in their back yards, nor did they ever have issues with consuming products that are made from the ruining of someone elses far away environment. They're all hypocritical morons. We'll see how they enjoy their 12 dollar per gallon gas some day and how they feel about nat gas then.

why do the landowners lease out their land for this fracking to take place?

How can people do this, then go home kiss the wife and kids and go to bed?
This is a testament to the fact that greed will turn people into demons, this kind of activity is satanic, they are killing people slowly and they know it. But they make bank so who cares right? It really makes me sad.

Are the frackers willing to drink our water?NO! I would like to see them drink it just for a day, but I grant you they wouldn't be able to drink it.

The fracking chemicals are not secret. Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, the Ground Water Protection Council, and the U.S. Department of Energy maintain lists of chemicals used by operators under their jurisdictions.
