I had one of these for years. I could plow through 18 inches of standing snow very well due to the fact that the motor actually sits behind the front wheels, so the traction's very good. Mine didn't weight 4,100 though. Aluminum 4 speed, no power steering, gutted everything that I didn't need under the hood, and it weighed 3,400 on the scale at work. I could beat most people with more motor on the street because these things hook up better than most muscle cars of this era.

Beautiful Pontiac, great choice of car and awesome to watch it lift those wheels and fly. I was reading the specs in Hot Rod and had a question for the owner, Randy. I was curious if you did an engine dyno test run before putting it in the car, and if so what were the results with and without nitrous? Wanted to compare those results to the chassis dyno numbers you noted, interested in determining average power train losses with a heavy duty TH400 vs. performance, which is obviously excellent..!
