I bought the same jack at a store called Canadian tire. It was on sale for $49.99. I jack a boulevard C90T. Like you said, the trick is finding the sweet spot, so that the bike is balanced.

Very good video. I'm going to buy one based on this video knowing it is a $150 Chinese jack so I will add some extra support and strapping because my Commando is worth it. For the occasional tune or service it looks like great value. If I worked on bikes everyday I would buy a more expensive one. Thanks for your efforts.

G'Day Joe, WOW not sure what to say! $150 Motorcycle Jack for the "average joe" that has worked for me over the past 2 years without any issues. Yeah it's made in China!! Where was the TV in your lounge room made? It's a globle world we now live in and Australia is doing GREAT! Thank you for your comments... it is good to get a different opinion on things. Cheers... Mark

You look and sound like a good guy trying to help others but that is why our country will never be the best because people buy crap from china and taiwan for peanuts so us ausies have to suffer , my jacks will never be on youtube as I make my own design I am making a very special one soon and I already have a few Harley Davidson's bikers waiting for it they will not buy the chinese one either for less money good luck my friend chef is my second trade all the best Biker Bits Joe

thanks for trying to be informative and it was a good video but I do not believe it is well constructed and safe it is not heavy duty construction like ours made in oz I know people look at the price and say geeee that is cheap but I know that if you were to buy a car or a motorcycle cheap and you know that for a few dollars more you can buy the best wouldn't you buy it?? anyway mate like I said I am not putting rubbish on you I am just explaining whuy you pay $150 and not a bit more ...

....I 'll just double check it? and see that the RHS tube and the pin are not in the centre there you can see the weakness of the frame are you with me or not?? also they used a flat bar as a support very weak again for avery expensive item ,also when you shake the bike it should not shake that much and I wouldn't work with it without strapping it your life is worth more than your bike and the jack........

....it as the bike weights quiet a bit and it is an expensive item as you know I am still watching your video as I type with my jacks you do not have to put a bit of timber at all,and if you have a look at the top of the frame where it is held by a bolt it is only through the RHS tube very weak I use a different way of doing that as I mentioned before my jacks are heavy duty ,the materials they have used are 1.6 thick walls I can tell from the close ups check when you say in the video.....

by the way I am not picking on you personally I just explaining to you the faults that people pay $150 bucks. The jack won't fit under because when it is down still too high my jacks fit under no sweat because have been designed with more expertise than that jack you are showing, I can see the jack is too high from your lower view of your video bad design again, also the loops where you are supposed to tie or strap the bike are in the wrong place you are supposed to strap the bike before lifting

......it bends also you are right caveman technology cheap stuff from china , the parts where the bike sits on are far too short I am watching the video as I type look at the welds next to the locking device or the castor not very professional hey I am a first class Boilermaker with 42 years experience and can tell you a few things about welding , the angle they used to put the castor is bend already and is welded to an RHS tube 2.5 thick walls...........

Hi there biker bits the jack looks good but it is not very strong is probably made in china I can see the materials are not the best also $150 dollars very cheap I can't even make the jack here in oz for that money that price it will cost me plus a bit more to make but heavy duty all round I made many in the past like I said much better and stronger than that .
As I can see the main frame is made of angle and flat bar which is very weak take a look at the jack when the bike is on it .....

I suugest use a floor jack using a remobable bike adapter to lift the secured bike. You can use the same floor jack to fix your car brake or change your flat tire.

Thanks! I just purchased one for my Harley Road King and with this explanation it should work great!

Thanks mate! Yes you can wheel the bike around on it, you just need a fairly smooth floor and just be careful if the bike is not strapped to the jack. The wheels work fine under the wieght. Cheers... Mark

Hi. Awesome vid. One question - can you move the jack with the motorcycle on and up? You know, after work can you just push the jack up the wall and leave the motorcycle for the night?
Or are those little wheels too weak?

Yeah your right about that! I let the man at the tyre shop do that! :-) Cheers... Mark

If you pull a wheel you will want it strapped down. Either wheel will change the balance enough for the bike to teeter in the opposite direction.
