I defend against them just fine, and I understand they are part of the game, but I really just hate how some terrans can throw away 10 hellions and do ridiculous amounts of damage.

Hellions are fine now. Nerfing them now would make them underpowered. Just learn how to defend against hellions and see them coming on maps with a large opening in the natural like xelnaga lol. Even if you lose some drones if you manage to take out the hellions, you are still in pretty good shape. Hellions are important to terrans too you know. They need hellions for early map control and scouting.
This is coming from a mainly zerg player btw.

if they are pressuring with ground armies then tank hellion is all you need, it will literally kill any t1 push that a zerg can do, just make sure you get siege mode quick, it is once they start going air that Mech becomes a delicate ballance type of game where you need to have enought thores or your whole army dies.

i dunno if day9 actually will see this but i got question. I started playing SC2 not long ago, seen plenty of strategies for my beloved toss, also for zerg and Terrans, but in 90% of games in random people make early preasure with t1 units, if i want to use this strategy (goody's) how to counter early presure with speedlings or even roaches?

I thinkhellion build time should be increased, that would be much more fair, and hopefully terrans will stop the 8-hellion bullshit... killing all the workers <_<
